RE: Springfield Gem show!

Geoff (and the list),
Geoff, I wished you would've stopped by and introduced yourself to Allan and myself! So this is an open invitation - don't be shy - it is a real treat to put a face to the names here. Ken Wilson, Geoff Notkin, Ron Fiedler (nice prints!), Daryll Pitt, Steve Arnold, Bob Haag and a few lurkers stopped by to say hi! and were treated to the 'debut' of DaG400 in the US, in a specially created presentation box - perhaps we even recruited a few nubies to the list. The lunarite even caused a few earthly mineral collectors to stop and take a long look and ask questions, like "how do you know it's from the moon". Luckily we had a copy of Zipfel's abstract available as documented scientific proof to support our argument. But, there were still a few non-believers in the group ("Do you always believe what you read?").

The West Springfield has grown quite a bit over the last few years to become easily the biggest show in the east, and there is a spectacular display of fossils here this year (if your into that sort of thing). And let us not forget the large number of mineral dealers, too!
It's worth the trip!

Thanks to all that came by and help make this year's show special!
(There's still Sunday!)
