Re: Patagonian eucrite

hi monica-

'tis i who has the main mass.

i've been haranguing the argentine middleman who obtained it from the
mountain climber who recovered the specimen for the necessary data. despite
innumerable efforts on my part to enable this meteorite to become "a
respectable member of the community"--including my having immediately
provided with the middleman with a "meteoritical bulletin - new meteorite
form"--he still hasn't gotten back to me. apparently he doesn't have all
the info and is awaiting a reply from the climber/recoverer.

the meteorite is pristine and appears as if it fell yesterday. upon my
acquisition of the mass in november, i provided marty prinz with a sample.

a partial slice of the meteorite is available in the upcoming phillips
auction. for more info go to the phillips link at www.theskyisfalling.com -
it's lot 147

kind regards
darryl
