Dear List members,

Simply stated, I am assisting in the auctioning of five (5) select
specimens from the Ron Oriti Collection.  The members of this List are
the only people receiving a 24 hour notice that the following specimens
are to placed on an "On-line" 7-day auction at EBAY:

Barwell, Leicestershire, England
	Stone, Olivine-hypersthene chondrite (L6)
	Fragment with some crust - observed fall.
	246 grams
	Opening bid:  US$3,700.00 (with reserve)

Calico Rock, Arkansas
	Iron, Labeled as "Hexahedrite (IIA) (Normal)"
	Thick slab - polished and etched.  Total mass:  less than 1.4 kg
	166 grams
	Opening bid:  US$1,660.00 (with reserve)

Canyon Diablo, Arizona
	Iron, Coarse Octahedrite (IA)
	Individual - beautiful shape - natures sculpture
	3,025 grams
	Opening bid:  US$750.00 (with reserve)

Gibeon, Namibia
	Iron, Fine Octahedrite (IVA)
	Polished/etched  - a giant slice ~18" X ~12", a stunning beauty.
	7,150 grams
	Opening bid:  US$6,000.00 (with reserve)

Odessa, Texas
	Iron, Coarse Octahedrite (IA)
	Complete individual - nice shape
	5,900 grams
	Opening bid:  US$2,000.00 (with reserve)

Listees.  In the meanwhile get yourself registered for the auction at
