Re: FUYU

I have some data on this meteorite. It looks like the name
is not going to be Fuyu, but rather SONGYUAN. Dr. Wang Daode
from Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences,
tells me it fell 1993 August 15 at 14:30-15:00 local time, mass of
largest stone 28 kg(39x29x14 cm). Alan Rubin has classified it
as L6. Matt Morgan sent me additional information, including
that 4 stones were recovered over 10 sq. km.

This name has NOT been approved yet by the Nomenclature Committee,
so please refer to it as "Songyuan (provisional name)".
