Or at least those of you who are still indoors.

I'm getting a late start here in LA land.  On my way
to host a group of people up on 6000' Mt Gleason (25
miles from my house).

My wife saw a fireball while driving down Foothill
Blvd. around 7:25 PM PST.  It was a sporadic!

The reports are that the Leonids have already peaked
and the ZHR counts are dropping rapidly.

Jordan  7000 - 10000
Germany 1000 -  2000
Spain    200 -   500
Eastern US 5 -    10

Hello,

 It is 06:30 Am local time in Jordan, and JAS has just
ended the observation. After a very quick discussion
with the scientists who were observing from Jordan
with JAS. We concluded that Jordan was one of the best
locations to observe the Leonids '99 from ! Since a
decrease of the activity was noticed before the
beginning of dawn ! Nearly all the participants
estimated the ZHR to be some how 
between 7000 - 10 000 !!
