Well, the Alaskan "show" was far from what we had hoped.
Watched under mostly clear skies from 12:30 to about 3:00am and saw a grand
total of 2. I saw one and the other was spotted by my 2 year old daughter
who cried out, "Mommy, I saw a star dripping!" Then she held out her
fingers about 2 inches apart and said, "It was about this size." I asked
her what color it was and she said it was blue. Her first sighting! That
was about the most memorable part of the night!
Off to bed early tonight!
