HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) -- Somewhere in Antarctica lie rocks that fell from
outer space thousands or even millions of years ago. Inside them, scientists

shuttle astronaut Owen Garriott of Huntsville and Apollo 13 commander Jim
Lovell are among the members of an expedition to Antarctica set for early
January to search for ancient meteorites. The meteorites may contain
preserved, microscopic extraterrestrial life.
