Dear Al and List,
    Thanks, Al, for a new class of object to calculate the odds on! Even
though there are no reports of aircraft hit by meteorites, one can
certainly calculate the odds and see if it is a reasonable possibility.
You've given me a new assignment to crunch the numbers on.
