Hello Kevin and List,

Another good source of meteorite thin section photos, albeit black and
white, is Gustav Tschermak's "The Microscopic Properties of Meteorites",
reprinted in Smithsonian Contributions Vol. 4, #6, 1964 (originally 1885
in German). He covers all meteorite types known at the time except
irons. There is also an explanation of terms in the appendix. These
reprints were offered for free a few years ago and probably can still be
found for a reasonable price.
