Here are my two, the ruler didn't come very well on the scan, but the larger
of the two is about 6" high. Most of them are made of faience, or at least
the finish is faience - a ceramic-glaze-like substance, generally sort of
teal or turquoise colored. Dean (amunre!) is probably the antiquity-maven
around here, maybe he could go into more detail.
