I have skydived in Arizona when the temp on the ground was in the 90's and I
can tell you that leaving an aircraft at 14,500 for a free fall will tell you
that it is extremely cold at that altitude. The freefall alone can make you
shiver and it only lasts 10 seconds or so. I am voting for cold rocks when
they hit, even the very hottest.

This only my view...no where near scientific...Mark Miconi
