Here a partial translation of an article from "Liberation", a great French
newspaper.
Original address of its web version:
http://www.liberation.fr/quotidien/semaine/20010614jeuy.html

Sylvestre Huet (Liberation) interviewing Bruno Fectay, the seller of NWA 480:
... The sale of the Mars rock "Theodore Monod" (NWA 480, 25 gr.
shergottite) to the CNES (French National Spatial Studies Center) brought him
in around $55,000, "BUT NASA OFFERED ME MORE". Already, the gram of other
Mars rocks reaching $15,000 especially with Japanese scientists. ...

It seems strange this implication of the NASA in the promotion of NWA
meteorites. Can we obtain a confirmation, or is it, once again, a false
information from this dealer?

Best regards,
Richard & Roland Pelisson
