Dear List,
  Some sales pitches are so obviously deceptive they
are not deceptive. When I saw the e-bay "lunar
sample", I thought, now here is a nice piece of
Apollo-era educational memorabilia mis-labeled as an
lunar basalt. But it was already bid up higher than I
wanted to pay for a nice piece of Apollo-era
memorabilia of that sort. I guess that is the result
of the fool factor at work.
