David, you are probably looking at plagioclase which is anorthite
(An90-92) in the Dhofar 007 cumulate, monomict breccia.

Plagioclase is a tectosilicate: (Na,Ca)(Si,Al)3O8
Anorthite is a tectosilicate: CaAl2Si2O8
