Hello, List
I have people ask all the time, "How do you know that the meteorite =
that you are selling is what you say it is". And my father hounded me =
about most of the night, lastnight. It's not like I have a lab in the =
back room. Or a certificate of authenticity that will make it so. How =
do you address these questions? How can I assure anyone who buys my =
product that this is the genuine article. Without having a degree in =
say something like astrophysics, or a noted geologist. I try to =
explain which dealers they came from and how they are found and so on. =
It does not ever seem to be enough..... What it comes down to is this, =
how can anyone that can't study these rocks know for sure what they are. =
Say I purchased two different H4 meteorites and both look alike in most =
respects. How can anyone know its not the same stone with a different =
name pinned on it. How can you assure them of its authenticity.....And =
so on. Any suggestions on how to address these Big questions? Because =
you have to admitt, this is a funny market on meteorites. =
                      Regards, Shaun Daniel { =
