Hello All,

Your probley wondering by the title, the US meteorite stamp? There's no US
meteorite stamp. Strangly, this is true, there is no US meteorite stamp,
yet. While the US postal service has made tons of space stamps for every and
everything it has totally ignored meteorites. With a little encouragement
from us however, this could change. At the post office the other day I
filled out a comment form, just ask and they will give you one. On it
suggested they create a meteorite stamp, I suggested the Williamette but I
think a Tuscon Ring one would be nice. A set would even be cooler but thats
probley overshooting. SO I am asking everyone that the next time they go
and do mail to fill out a comment form suggesting the like. Maybe if enough
of us let them know we are interested they will make one. They do read the
comments and suggestions have resulted in stamps before. A meteorite postal
stamp could help introduce meteorites to millions of people and therefore
lead in the long run to more finds, ect.
