Hello Russ and List,

SCOTT E.R.D. et al. (2001) Links between terrestrial
planets and chondrites (MAPS 36-9, 2001, A185, excerpt):

CAIs and refractory grains with exceptionally 16O-rich compositions
are found in all chondrule groups including CI, CM, E, and O chondrites,
and micrometeorites. Their chemical and oxygen isotopic compositions
indicate high-temperature formation in a dust-enriched location, most
probably near the protosun. Efficient transportation to cooler regions
may have been provided by the X-wind.

Best wishes,

Bernd
