Apparently it was on Fox news; a list member said it was a pallasite.

Unless the object in question is examined by an
authority on meteorites, I would take this report with
more than a "grain of salt"

So many times I get letters and e-mails saying that the
rocks found were "confirmed by a college"

and it turns out otherwise...
