Hi all -

My initial scepticism of the Rio Cuarto team's work
was unfounded - it is rigourous, and it does show that
the Rio Cuarto depressions were not caused by oblique
impact -

This leaves us with the tasks of finding signs of 2
separate impacts - the one that created the
Argentinian glasses, and the other which set most of
South America on fire in proto-historical times.

These searches will require funding, and given the
current budget realities about the only source of
funding at hand is going to be getting some of the
money currently given to the watery Mars folks -
