Alpha particles aren't rays they are helum nucleii and are stopped by paper skin etc etc etc

The only radioactive danger from trinitie is the out chance of a plutonium particle--that is a legitimate but REMOTE concern. so scan it if you have a chance. BTW Gieger Counters won't detect alpha radiation even if you wwere drowning in it. Some fiestaware(red) is very active in the Alpha range.

The trinity site has a slightly elevated background radiation equal to that of a trans continental flight.

And I am tired of the conspiracy theorist-- there are boards for that elsewhere and I am tired of non scientific based speculation ad nausea I am tired of being tired...
