Is it just me, or does it appear that Colorado is
getting more than its fair share of bright
meteors/fireballs over the past 18 months?

You're right, Ron.

But, while it is argueable about the frequency of
fireballs sighted in the Colorado area, it is for sure
that credit should go to Jack Murphy in how the Denver
Museum of Natural History and the Cloudbait
Observatory work in tandem with the local media in
getting the word out to the general public, which in
turn generates even more eye-witness reports, as well
as, more sightings.
