There is much that I can comment upon regarding this
article in the recent M&PS journal, but let's just
start with this:

the most definitive "map" of OVERLAPPING strewn fields

Also,

"[Their study] demonstrates that in some cases the
shock stage is not a good criteria for the detection
of paired samples."

And much more...
but will save those discussions for later.
 
For all the vastness of the Sahara Desert, so many
meteorite finds have come from a limited area of just
a few plateaus!

Quite an eye-opening article.
