NEW J002E3 ANIMATIONS
September 20, 2002

A new animation showing the orbit of J002E3 is now available here:

http://neo.jpl.nasa.gov/j002e3a.html

The animation covers the time period from April 2002 through July 2003.
Shown in the animation is the Earth orbit capture as J002E3 passes by the L1
point, the chaotic six orbits around the Earth, the close Moon flyby in
May 2003, and then the exit from Earth orbit through the L1 portal as J002E3 heads
back into solar orbit.

Also on this page are the J002E3 discovery images taken by Bill Yeung on
September 3, 2002.
