If it's not a real meteorite they are BEING tricked.

She isn't? She is claiming a piece of granite is a meteorite. What do we
do when that happens on ebay? Is it somehow less of a con when it's done to
children? If the rest of us encourage it, or even allow it to continue
unchallenged, well, then the children REALLY will << feel tricked >>, and
with good reason.

The thing of it is, it's just so very simple to fix. How about if the
meteorite community gives her a REAL specimen so she could continue her
sessions with children unchanged, but with a REAL meteorite. If she refuses
THAT, is she still "not conning anyone"?
