Below are the two responses I've had from the seller this evening. They
make for very interesting reading. I don' think anyone who has seen the
pics or description will be convinced by it.
Make up your own mind.....

Hi Ian, gotta say Department of Defense I worked on Nuclear Submarines
for over 20+ years and have seen more slag metal than you will ever see!
The pictures were ones I had taken a couple of months ago when I first
had these specimens listed, and I removed them then because no one
thought they were real, so I had some samples sent in to NEMS to have
verified, and thats where I am at now. The samples sent in were remants
of these pieces, and I would like someone to stand infront of me and say
they are not!!
As far as the gold, it is just reflective color. As far as the
diamonds suspect in carbon deposits, I gotta say I took that info off of
anouther Diablo Canyon canyon meteorite sale on ebay so I have no facts
on that at all.
Gotta say I am a little tired of suspect experts telling me about
things they don't apper to know much more about than I do! You think I
would put up with all these questions, if I was up to sometihing. I
stand by my reputation, these specimens are as defined. I wish you were
here to take a closer look. I have 100% positive feedback and plan on
it staying that way, and provide money back if not satisfied!
I guess I will keep selling this insane stuff!
Sincerly

Why do you not show a picture of the etched slice with Widmanstatten
pattern? There is nothing showing it on the pics on your ebay ad.
-Anyone with any metallurgical knowledge would know that an iron-nickel
sample could never contain gold.
As for your spurious semi-claim that it MAY contain diamonds! Come on !
Please provide me meteoritical evidence that Canyon Diablo has EVER been
found with diamonds in the matrix?
I believe you are already being investigated with regards to your claims
that the 'NEW ENGLAND METEORITICAL SERVICES LABORATORY' have validated
this piece. Maybe they have validated a piece of yours but I find it
hard to believe it is THIS piece. Can I see a copy of the certificate
and where it refers to THIS piece.
I would hope you will take this item off-sale as soon as is possible.
Regards
Ian
