Hello all,
After looking at a variety of eucrites over the years it set me to
wondering why eucrites, presumably the fragments of lava flows on
other asteroids, are so pale in comparision to Earth's dark lavas. Is it
because the iron has nearly completely left eucrites during the
differentiation process or is there some other reason(s)?
Hoping for enlightenment from this great list.
Thanks,
Bob
