[meteorite-list] Just witnessed large fireball.

Not that fast, I have seen 20 years of meteor showers, and this one was =
not a cometary piece, that is for sure. It was slow enough that I =
followed it accross the sky on it's way down. It is the third best =
fireball I have ever seen.=20

  Mike, if the meteor appeared to be moving "Very Fast", you can kiss =
off the idea of any meteorites dropping from it. This is an indication =
of it being of cometary origin...very fragile and soft material. Plus at =
that speed, more than likely to burn up even if it was astroidal.
