Hello List, I just watched a show on Nova ( I think ) about how the earth
has a magnetic reversal every few hundred thousand years. Do any of you know
anything about this? Is this from a magnetic asteroid passing close to the
Southside of the earth? : )
I was also wondering while on the subject of magnetic fields, what is the
importance to science of the magnetic fields of meteorites, what are they
trying to find out?

Also a personal problem if anyone cares to help? I think my teenage
daughter is in some kind of trouble. I over heard her talking to a friend on
the phone and she was saying something about a binounial problem with her
latus rectum? I think she may have seen a doctor about this and he
prescribed Fibonacci and it should clear up the parabola within a few days?
should I be worried?

Thanks, Tom
