Well, my collecting habits aren't very unusual, I think - they are just
.. well.. unsystematic :-)

I have 4 main areas in my collection: numbered NWA's, named meteorites,
irons and "the very rare stuff".

I know that there are items that belong to at least two of the
categories (for example NWA 998), but I know where to place them :-).

With the numbered NWA's, I try to be as complete as possible, even
buying "worthless" junk if the price is right. With the named
meteorites, I buy them if I find them attractive or if I find an
exceptionally low price. The irons: it's the same as with the named
meteorites. The very rare stuff gets added to my collection when there
is a chance to do so.

When it is possible, I want to have an individual and a cut piece from
the same meteorite in the collection.

Hi Walter
I have a nice collection of falls. What makes it interesting is they
must be whole and weigh around 5 grams and be 80+% crusted. I currently
have 12 pieces plus a gorgeous Camel Donga (it's almost a fall). PF of
course is the newest.
