I have personally thought the last few years lectures have tended to be
well, a little dull !
I remember as a kid listening to the lectures and being absolutely
fascinated, I think that is one of the things that triggered my
interest in science (now I'm a nuclear electronics engineer)

Let's hope Monica will throw in plenty of 'meteorics', to get peoples
imagination going again!

just had a chat with Dr Grady at the NHM. Fellow Brits might like to
know that Monica will be presenting the annual Royal Institution
Christmas Lecture series this year, with 5, hour-long lectures broadcast
on Channel 4 television. The series is called "Voyage in Space and Time"
