Pretty doubtful. The key feature you will see on all fulgurites is a
definite glass lining. The external surface is commonly variably fused
sand. Your specimen looks like limonite/goethite (check the streak).
If it's FeOx and lacks a glassy core, it's not a fulgurite.

After having had mail contact with some list members on the question of
the fulgurite (and having received some pictures), I am not so sure that
what there is is really a flugurite. It looks so - different. Please
have a look at this picture:

and tell me what you think. What I can tell you to help you with your
expertise: If you touch this object, it feels "sandy" for sure, and it
leaves tiny grains of sand (very few) on your fingers. The color on the
photo is very accurate. Again: size of the object is: 9cm in length,
2.5cm inner diameter.

I am really curious about your opinions.
