I think, regrettably, that trying to say an area is "due" for a meteorite
fall is playing the odds, just like Vegas. Statistically, all things being
equal, areas that haven't had a fall for centuries might be "overdue" for
one, but chances are equally good that the next fall will thud into the
sands of NWA or Antarctica. It's like flipping a coin endlessly. You might
have a run of dozens of "heads", but the chance that the next toss will come
up "tails" i still 50/50.

My keyboard seems to be acting up, so if the syntax is a little garbled,
please excuse.
