Isn?t it also just the DIFFERENCE!!! that some-
times make these little ID cards interesting?
I?ve been collecting for 13 years now, and I have
a whole lot of very differently sized meteorite
labels from a lot of dealers (and institutions)
both from the past and from the present. These
little goodies can also tell their story, as well
as the meteorites do which they describe. And
especially in the case of "historical" meteorites,
accompanying old original labels will always add
a very special spice and flavor...

I generally use to keep the original labels in a
special place with all my other documentation about
the collection, and display my meteorites with my own
homemade labels, which I think may be a good compro-
mise. Regarding dealers, Scotsman and Cap?n Blood
is right stating that dealers will NEVER agree on
anything, which of course includes the labels! :-)
