Bah!
Of all places, one would think that Wyoming would have a sheephole
valley, we have none!
Predecessors chose not to honor sheep by naming geographic locations, or
meteorites after them it appears.
:-D
In the early 1980's we had over 5 million sheep grazing here. Today
there are less than half a million. It seems to be useful to hunt
meteorites on those eroded hillsides where the sheep overgrazed.
 Although I have yet to find meteorites in these areas, the lack of
vegetation seems to help the visual searching.

Sheephole Valley sounds more Australian to me.
