One of my two Antarctic meteorites is a tiny sliver of Thule Mtns., a
pallasite, with a tiny olivine crystal surrounded by metal. I feel most
fortunate to have acquired it, so eat your hearts out, everyone!

Typos aside, let us all pay tribute to H. H. Nininger, one of the fathers of
our science.

"Here's to the Prof. of Geology,
Master of all Natural History,
Rare boy he, and rare boys we,
To know such a great curiosity!"
(stolen shamelessly from the 1959 flick, "Journey to the Center of the
Earth". If there is a more primary source for that quote, I gratefully
acknowledge it.)
