Very cool! I didn't know there was a song about a meteor shower. Any poems?
Other slogans? Canned food labels?

Anita

"Can anyone tell me what this license plate
slogan refers to from Alabama:

"Stars Fell on Alabama"

Is it in reference to the Wetumpka impact?"

It might come from a popular song written by Mitchell
Parrish and Frank Perkins in 1934 and recorded by
Frank Sinatra in 1953 and recorded by Jimmy Buffett
in 1981. The song itself refers to a meteor shower
that was seen across Alabama on November 12-13,
1833.
