There were reports in April about a Wisconsin fireball. It got some press
coverage as well as a few hits in the list. Perhaps a member from the WI
area should just go check it out....

Subject: [meteorite-list] the hole mystery

Must be a desperately slow news week in Shawano, Wi.:
"One hole of a mystery stumps area family"
http://www.shawanoleader.com/articles/2004/09/20/news/news1.txt

Classic m-wrong line:
"I do not think it is from a meteorite impact as there is no
evidence of scorched earth," (Richard Slaughter,
 Geology Museum director at UW-Madison)

feeling somewhat empty,
ken
"I want the hole truth!"
"You can't handle the hole truth!"
