Well, Michael's close-up does in no way do justice to the extraordinary
beauty of the thin section he is offering as it is only a "zoom-in" version
of the preceding JPEG. As soon as my Easter vacation starts here next Tues-
day, I'll take pictures at 32x or 56x magnification and, if Michael is inter-
ested, send them to him so that he can upload them for everybody to enjoy.

Meanwhile I've been contacted by the one who purchased thin section #2 and
we are both very anxious to find out what (s)he'll see because his/her thin
section visually (that is photographically) looks more metamorphosed than
mine.

TS experts on this list will know where *premium* quality thin section come
from: a *high quality* thin section usually comes from David New's slide
maker, they are not as cheap as some other thin sections but they guarantee
first class views of meteoritic minerals in thin section !
