No Dealers collecting the rocks = few rocks to study = tiny meteorite
research budget = no meteorite scientist jobs.

Simplifying :

(Rocks to study /10) is better than (rocks to study=0)


So before those of you call it 'NWA raping', bear in mind that the whole
field of meteoritics depends on trades, exchange of material and
amateurs spending thousands of $$ and hours searching the far reaches of
the planet, so the scientists can spend most of their research budgets
on analysing rather than collecting....
