  The Altithermal is much more pronounced and lasted
about 4,000 years compared with the 1,000+ years of
the Y-D.
  The Altithermal may also give clues to an impact
event? It seems logical that more energy should be
spent on this much larger widespread climatic event
that is well documented in the archaeological record.
