Hello Listers,

I would like to say thank you to everyone that emailed me with their answers. The correct answers to my question?is the Ensisheim fall and king Maximilian.?Congratulations Andr? for being the second person to get the answers right. The first person that got it right was Gary, but he had told me that he would like to pass on the prize. Again, thank you Listers and more to come.

Hello Listers,

I hope everyone is having a great Sunday, I am working away and reading the heated debate about Nomenclature Committee and how it is financially supporting the illegal export of meteorites from countries where it is prohibited. I never knew that this was such a problem, when did this become a big issue? Also lets say that the research that has been conducted on these meteorites are all done legally with the scientist then how can one prove or disprove Nomenclature Committee is financially supporting the illegal exportation of meteorites from countries where it is prohibited? The question does not lie with them, it lies with the dealers and collectors. The Committee is implemented to classify meteorites and without that step the science of meteoritics would be alot more difficult for classification for all areas of expertise.

Now to the POP QUIZ question:

Which historic meteorite fall quickly became famous because it caught the interest of a king because his advisors reveled to him that the stone was a vow of Gods favor to him? If you are the first individual to email me off-list with the correct name of the king and the meteorite fall, you will receive a free Tagish Lake meteorite fragment.
