With the moon setting early behind the mountains here in the Sierras I was able to get in some extended photography time. With the moonlight diminished the Milky Way became much more visible and a lot more meteor streaks could be seen. I was fortunate in this exposure to capture three trails.

If any of you are interested in learning how to capture scenes like this with your 35mm camera, I am teaching a workshop here in Lake Tahoe, CA this coming September on starlight and low light photography. You can find more information on my website via the following link.

I will be posting a few more images of a couple of last year's meteor showers over the next few days.
