Hi everyone,
I've studied a lot of meteorites up close through the stereoscope and
have noticed that many fresh chondrites - especially L6/LL6 - show a
white granulated matrix with smaller black specks sprinkled in. I've
also noticed a similar texture in some eucrites and howardites. Can
someone tell me what minerals I'm seeing?

Thank you for your help.
Bob
