Good Morning Pierre-Marie

This is sad news indeed, and very frustrating since it is due to a legal impediment and not a comment on the strength and quality of the research. Some of my colleagues have suggested self-publishing which is a good idea, but if you are prevented by your contract then you will still run into major legal problems. I assume there is no way to negotiate yourself out of this contract without incurring substantial costs - my daughter is a lawyer and I know from her the difficulty and cost of these types of negotiation. Is there any possibility of using a second or co-author? If your contract specifies you and you alone as author, then maybe a co-author can help to circumvent this problem. Have a talk with your own lawyer and see what they say.

Bon chance!

Hello everybody,

my former editor doesn't believe to the potential of a new book about french meteorites so I decided to write a new one.

As it's on the same subject, my previous contract doesn't allow me to publish it so sadly, there won't be a new book about french meteorites from me unless I find a solution but chances are near zero.

Sorry about that.
