Thank you Jeff,

For the clarity that a 'paper' hasn't been published about Al Haggounia and/or NWA 2828 not being an Aubrite and 'simply' an Enstitite, albeit a very interesting one!! I have CCed Tony Irvibg and Ted Bunch on this because they have performed extensive research in this most interesting meteorite. Sorry I do not have a link to Ted's web page dedicated to 'The NWA 2828 / Al Haggounia Problem' as I am out of town and limited on a cell phone.

As for the DCAs, I am still confused at to the naming structure and why the new 'official' DCA finds would even have 'NWA' associated when the numbers are so close to current one ( almost at 9000 ). I will Havel read the report when I have access to a computer and have time.

Thanks for all of your help everyone!!

Best regards,
Greg Hupe

Why start the DCAs at "NWA 10,000..." when in short time the 'non-proof' mets will reach the tried and true 'NWA' naming system and surpass 10,000? Why not simply add the 'sub group' "DCA" after "NWA"... example... NWA-DCA 0001, NWA-DCA OOO2... and so on....

>> As for re-evaluating certain classifications for renaming, how about we fix that Al Haggounia problem, it is still not an 'Aubrite'?? NWA 2828 was rewritten in Abstract that the original 'Aubrite' designation was made with original type sample, but after subsequent material was cut chondrules were discovered and the correct science was selflessly announced...
