Mike, you should be commended for putting on a brave face during adversity.
One just needs to look at news reports that have no reason to lie about
attendance. I noticed attendance dropping off last year when I did go to
the show. For the first time I can recall, getting a room is no problem at
all this year. I left my options open and decided a few days ago it was not
worth it for me this year. The lack of deals, bad weather, Superbowl
traffic, scams and lack of meteorite social gatherings was enough to keep me
away this year.

The truth is that most people do not have much disposable income to attend
the show in the first place is what the news is reporting.

The millennials could care less about collectables these days and don't have
any spare funds for non-electronic gadgets. I have a huge stockpile of
meteorites and a warehouse full of antiques to prove it. The only hot items
selling these days for me are vehicles and artifacts. My wife acquired a
large U.S. space program collection which I will start listing items from in
the up and coming weeks. My only hope is to break even on it since it was
acquired due to an investor failing to pay a note.

I wish all the honest dealers well and hope that collectors can find a
piece or two to add to their collections.

Adam

I'm confused, how could attendance be lowest in decades? The show starts
today. There are no rental cars and very hard to find a place to sleep in
the entire city. It is pouring rain and flooding and hotel is full, parking
lot completely full and people walking blocks in the rain to get here.
My sales at just fine, and yes, there are no wholesale prices and supply is
down and prices are up.
Adam, Find new people to lie to you about the show because the ones telling
you this crap are delusional, or come down for yourself.
