Dear List Members,

I have two great pieces of NWA 5000 Lunar meteorite ending at auction this
evening. Both are well over a gram with no reserve. You may want to take
advantage of these offerings as I only have 4 other auction pieces scheduled
this month and only quantity 13, NWA 5000 pieces left in my eBay store.
You just need to check completed auctions to see that the store pieces have
been selling briskly at under a $1,000.00 a gram and the auction pieces
somewhat less. A lot of dealers are taking advantage of these prices knowing
that they can consistently realize over $1,700.00 a gram in other venues or
auction houses. NWA 5000 is a top tier lunar meteorite putting downward
pressure on most other lunar meteorites and has not been affected by the
price decrease plaguing other offerings. It has held steady in a poor
economy since it was announced in late 2007 at an introductory price of
$800.00 a gram.

I will be putting my eBay store in vacation mode around the 26th in
anticipation of getting back into field searching for minerals, fossils and
meteorites and surveying seven ranches that are part of my landbank in
Nevada which are soon to be ready for market after their one-year
anniversaries, having reached a long-term capital gains tax rate of 15% as
opposed to 28% for collectables. It depends on what advice I receive from
my new accountant/financial adviser what to do when I return. I mothballed
the rest of my meteorite inventory last May and took a 7 month vacation from
offering any meteorite auctions at all on eBay.

I enjoy the excitement surrounding no reserve auctions but find them very
time consuming. I have not made any plans for when I return from the field.
Perhaps, after clearing my head in the field, I will have a better idea of
what direction to proceed as far as meteorite sales go, when I return
sometime in June. Who knows, I might have a fourth of July sale titled
"FREEDOM", (now considered to be a derogatory term by some), when I return!

Here are two great NWA 5000 offerings:
