Hi Friends and Collectors,

I have returned from another unsuccessful hunt for Osceola meteorites.
Despite our best efforts on three different trips, we were unable to
recover any meteorites from the January Osceola meteorite fall. The
terrain is very difficult to search and I have gained a great deal of
respect for the hunters who managed to make recoveries in a dense,
swampy, forest. All we managed to find was ticks, mosquitoes, snakes,
and a few fossils. To add a little salt to the wounds, I
just received word that another search team has recovered a meteorite
from the same general area we searched. I am happy for them and
congratulate them on their find - it was surely a lot of hard work.
