about a month ago, before the Monahans issue arose, i had discussed this
same topic with Bob Haag, he said meteorites were a duty free commodity
in the U.S, and that they were protected under the Outer Space Treaty
which was signed by over 200 countries, i have been looking through the
documents of the treaty, but have yet to find any mention of meteorites,
the documents can be found at ;
