A) Alaskan meteorites:

Aggie Creek, IIIA, Find 1942.
A mass of about 43kg was raised by a gold dredge in Aggie Creek.

Chilkoot, IIIA, Find 1881.
A mass of 43kg was obtained from Indians, who said it had been seen to
fall about 100 years ago.

Cold Bay, PAL, Find 1921, June.
Fragments totalling 320g were found.

Prince of Wales's Straits, Doubtful.
A stone or stones are said to have fallen but the evidence is not
conclusive.


B) Virginia meteorites:

Botetourt County, Iron (17% nickel*)
Cranberry Plains, IVA
Dungannon, IA
Forksville, L6
Augusta County, IIIA
Hopper, IIIB
Staunton, IIIE
Keen Mountain, IIA

Landes, IA (silicated)
Greenbrier County, IIIA
Montrose, Doubtful
Jenny's Creek, IA

* Other irons with 17% nickel are: Babb's Mill (IRANOM), Dayton (IIICD),
Sanata Clara (IVB), Skookun (IVB), South Byron (IRANOM), Tawallah Valley
(IVB), Ternera (IVB), Weaver Mountain (IVB).
